Larissa Huston visiting HPCAT

Larissa Huston, a third-year graduate student, is visiting from The Australian National University for approximately 3 months.  She’ll be at HPCAT to pursue her PhD research on the factors affecting phase transformations in semiconductors. Specifically, Larissa will be working on the influence of shear by using a rotating diamond anvil cell and the influence of size by studying how silicon nanowires respond to pressure.
